Every pet you see above has a new home thanks to KIX Kitties and K9s and Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Now as Second Chance reopens to the public, they need your help restocking their supplies. Join KIX 102.9 and Hollywood Feed in the Triangle and donate to Supply a Second Chance!
During COVID-19, the generous foster care volunteers helped house the Second Chance animals. As folks return to work and the main shelter reopens, there is a heightened need for food and supplies for the pets, as well as general supplies such as cleaning items and Ziploc bags. See their full list of needs below, and drop off donations at any of the four Hollywood Feed locations between now and July 31st:
Morrisville/Cary – Hatches Pond Drive (Near Wegmans on Davis Drive)
Chapel Hill – Between Franklin and Fordham Streets near Staples
Raleigh – Off Leesville Road next to Publix
Hollywood Feed Pet Adoption Events
You can also drop off during Hollywood Feed’s Pet Adoption Events. This is the first set of events for Second Chance Pet Adoptions since they reopened. Drop off donations between 11a-3p on the dates below and say Hi to the sweet (and very much adoptable) furry friends!

In the 1950s, Hollywood Feed opened our first pet supply store on the corner of Hollywood Street and Chelsea Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. Over the next few decades, Hollywood Feed was the place to get pet food, good advice, and friendly service.
