Saturday on American Top 40 it’s the big songs this week 1984. Remember when MTV played music? The countdown brings back those memories with hits by video darlings Billy Idol, Duran Duran, ZZ Top, Bruce Springsteen, and… Prince, ruling all with “When Doves Cry”. You’ll hear a Forgotten 45 “Almost Paradise” by Mike Reno and Ann Wilson and a thoughtful Cyndi Lauper ballad “Time After Time”.
