- ½ cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cubed

- 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven
Preheat to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix the dry ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. Cut in the butter
Add cold butter cubes and use a pastry cutter or your fingertips to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
