Veteran Tina Turner stages a comeback, in the top ten with “What’s Love Got to Do With It” newcomer Cyndi Lauper is in the countdown twice, as is Prince…Bruce Springsteen is followed closely by Bruce sound-alike John Cafferty…And looking out for #1 it’s Stevie Wonder’s “I Just Called to Say I Love You’, the song that sounds like it should be in a phone company commercial..and it was!
