Hello, and thanks for listening! Just a bit about me here; I fell in love with radio way before High School and was fortunate to land my first radio gig at the iconic North Alabama powerhouse radio station WAAY-AM in Huntsville. Oh, let’s see, this was in 19xx or so. And the radio years have been and continues to be good to me. In addition to the “Great American WAAY,” I spent several years along the Grand Strand at WKZQ-FM and later WNMB-FM. From there it was up to Columbia, South Carolina for almost a decade at WCOS-FM (fun fact, if you were in Columbia in the late 80’s and early 90’s, yep, that was me doing TV weather at channel 25 … I’m still a weather geek!). It was from the Palmetto state to the Tar Heel state in 1999 and I’ve called the Triangle home ever since.
One thing I love most about the privilege of being at “KIX” is having lived the music … and I’m happy to share it with you!
