The Vibe: A beautiful, sleek black-and-white girl who just needs a little initial patience to unlock a lifetime of devotion.
Personality: Magic Mama is a timid sweetheart at first, but she warms up quickly to become a total bundle of love. She hits the perfect middle ground for affection—she isn’t an intense lap dog, but she always wants to be close by. She is great with other dogs and children.
Special Features: A gorgeous white chest and a cute, unique little speck of white on the back of her head.
Adopter Note: She is mostly potty trained (just needs a little routine refinement) and settles beautifully in her crate with a peanut butter Kong or a chew toy. She is selectively timid around older humans, primarily heavier males, and might bark to let them know she’s there before backing away. She is casually curious about cats and shows no aggression, but slow introductions are best. She does well on a leash unless she gets startled.
Magic Mama is available as part of our Foster to Adopt Program – what this means is that her adoptive family (once approved through the adoption process), will act as her foster family until she has had the opportunity to be spayed. Foster to Adopt families MUST be located within 1 hour driving distance of our location. This is because puppies will have several clinic visits for vaccination updates and our veterinary partners are all in the Raleigh, NC area.
