Saturday on AT40 it’s the big songs this week 1982! Newcomers Men at Work have their first hit with the quirky “Who Can It Be Now?”…’An Officer and A Gentleman’ is a hit movie and so is its “Up Where We Belong” by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes…a couple of pre-Halloween psyche-ups: “Abracadabra” by Steve Miller, and “You Can Do Magic” by America… and John Cougar has held the #1 spot with “Jack and Diane” for the last three weeks…can he make it four? The songs you know and love, some One Hit Wonders, and surprises too…Back to the 80s, every Saturday 6-10 am, with an encore presentation 8-midnight on KIX.

Sunday morning on AT40, Get your 8-Track Flashback with the most popular songs this week 1977! You wanna dance? It’s Donna Summer, KC and The Sunshine Band, Heatwave, and the disco Star Wars theme in the Top Ten…right outside the Ten you get a country flavor with Crystal Gayle “Don’t it Make My Brown Eyes Blue” and Ronnie McDowell’s tribute to Elvis “The King is Gone”…a couple of teen idols duke it out: Shaun Cassidy with “ That’s Rock n Roll” and Leif Garrett’s “Surfin USA”…and the squeaky-clean Debby Boone hopes to stay at #1 for the second week with “You Light Up My Life”!
